Are you an enthusiastic, motivated and modern leader who can work in a professional manner as part of a busy team?
Then you may have the qualities we are looking for to become our new Depute Manager!
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to work across two of Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership’s Learning Disability Day Services, including the popular Friends Unlimited Network service.
Our services provide a mix of community and building based support for individuals across busy and exciting timetables of activities.
Do you have supervisory and management experience, with great interpersonal skills?
We are looking for an individual who has the right skills and abilities to work alongside our existing management team to lead, support and inspire our positive and proactive team of 40 staff. You will carry out direct line management duties for around 13 members of the staff team.
You will work closely with our creative and passionate management team which when complete comprises of a registered manager and two depute managers.
Can you communicate effectively to build relationships with service users and other internal/external stakeholders to ensure a quality care provision?
You will work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth day to day operation of our services. Excellent communication and digital skills will be required in order to do this effectively.
It will be essential for you to build positive relationships with the users of our service and their parents/carers/guardians who must be included, involved and central to any developments within their own support packages or the wider service.
Partnership working with multi-disciplinary partners will be an integral part to this role, you will be able to network and communicate effectively with these partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for the individuals we support.
Do you have the ability to work under pressure, prioritise, and problem solve?
Within this role you will be able to showcase these skills when supporting our day-to-day service provision. You will also be required to have great attention to detail and the ability to efficiently meet deadlines.

What else do you need to know about this post?
You will be required to hold a full UK driving Licence and be willing to drive PKC vehicles.
You will hold an SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or a higher/equivalent qualification with relevant work experience.
You will be based at Gleneagles Day Opportunities, Gleneagles Road, Perth, PH20AW. We are happy to discuss the hours of work to promote flexibility and work life balance providing the needs of the service are met.
