Deputy Manager

Responsibilities
* Use management and leadership experience to work with other care home staff to ensure highest standards of care are delivered at all times.
* Have an inclusive approach with residents, their families and other care staff to ensure all care objectives are met.
* Support with the continuous development of junior staff.
* Encourage a motivated working environment to ensure all staff feel supported in delivering best practice of care.
* Support the Home Manager with operational functions of the home.
* Support the Home Manager in ensuring NMC, SSSC and Care Inspectorate standards are met.



Requirements
* Registered nurse with active NMC Pin
* Unit Manager experience in a care home setting for older people
* Strong management and leadership abilities
* A passion for providing top quality care
* Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
* Experience in supporting and developing junior staff
