Assisting in investigations relevant health and safety hazards and referring pertinent matters to the SHSO.
Monitoring the 'MySafety' - Electronic Incident Reporting System, ensuring all reports are completed fully, in compliance with Data Protection Act and suitable investigations are carried out into all reports.
Supporting the Organisation and carrying out all health, safety, and welfare audits and safety inspections of all workplaces, within the Stn Cdrs area of responsibility.
The maintenance of accidents and dangerous occurrence records, causal factors, and consequential recommendations.
Supporting with Health and Safety (H&S) training requirements and the collation of training documentation.
Assisting with the promulgation of appropriate H&S information to stakeholders and all relevant SharePoint sites are kept up to date.
Assisting with assessing and prohibiting any work activity that involves an imminent risk of serious personal injury.
Supporting an on-call system (mobile telephone) to provide support in the event of a serious incident on Stn.
Deputising as the Station Hearing Conservation Officer, Radiation Safety Officer, and Laser Safety Officer.
The line management of the 4Cs Coordinator.
