Full Job Description
As a Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Reviewing tender documentation provided by clients.
- Preparing initial sales design to assist sales team in winning new projects.
- Utilizing company pricing tool to produce accurate quotations for projects.
- Preparing quotations for issuing for customer consideration.
- Preparing construction drawings using Autocad MEP and Revit.
- Completion of hydraulic calculations to ensure system requirements are met.
- Preparing technical submittals, schematics, interface schedules and other design documentation.
As a minimum you must have: - Experience on the similar position - with MEP/building designing
- Proficiency in Autocad MEP will be essential for this role.
- Proficiency in Revit will be essential for this role.
- Construction-related degrees, including Architecture, Building Services & Civil Engineering
- Experience in the use of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
- Good knowledge of buildings or architecture. Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
- A history of working within the fire suppression industry designing sprinkler systems

The Successful candidate will initially be trained on their fire protection system and products by in house trainers, and then drawing, designing and coordinating this system within client's building models, working around site restraints and other building services. - Salary based on candidate's experience.
