Multrees Investor Services are an award-winning investment services company who operate in the Financial Services sector. They support transformational change through a range of outsourced investment services to wealth managers, private banks, family offices and advisory businesses.
Overview:
An opening has arisen within the Treasury team. The Treasury team manages the transfer of all monies both internally and externally. This role is responsible for the timely operation of bank accounts on behalf of the company’s clients. This will involve checking, validating and authorising banking transactions processed through in-house systems and various banking platforms; in addition, monitoring balances and overdrawn positions.
Multrees have a strong history of inducting QA Apprentices and supporting them with permanent roles upon completion. When you join the business, you will be assigned a buddy who will be on hand to support you with any training. Your line manager has supported apprentices in the past, so you are in safe hands!
What will you be doing?
- Support clients by ensuring all cash processing tasks are completed accurately in accordance with instructions and applicable deadlines. You will be using multiple banking portals to do. When doing this, you will:
- Identify and resolve all anomalies and differences that arise, including overdrafts and funding requirements.
- Escalate any potential client money issues to direct line manager.
- Throughout your apprenticeship, you will become an expert user of IM Security and Equisoft. You will use these systems to log client requests and information and manage transfers, respectively.
- Ensure outstanding items are resolved in a timely manner and collaborate with the responsible business area. This will also involve communicating with customers both via telephone and Microsoft Outlook.
- Liaise with third party suppliers (such as banks) regarding processing and query resolution.
- Comply with operational risk and regulatory control policies and procedures, logging and monitoring risk events where appropriate.
- Participate in projects which require input from or directly impact the team.

- Ability to prioritise heavy workload and work efficiently under pressure
Salary:
£20,500 per annum.
Your salary will be discussed upon completion of your apprenticeship.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday,
9am – 5pm OR 9:30am - 5:30pm.
