Full Job Description

Fixed Term until November 2025

Do you enjoy learning about new Digital systems?  Do you enjoy working within a Digital and Information setting?  Do you listen and communicate effectively?  If you do then NHS Fife is looking for you to work within their Digital Enablement team as a Digital and Information Facilitator.

The role of Digital and Information Facilitator is imperative to successful delivery of effective digital technology within NHS Fife. You will work within Strategy and Programmes, digital enablement sub team, to provide service / system support for service users and staff within NHS Fife. The facilitator will work directly with the programme and project teams with oversight from Digital and Information Head of Strategy and Programmes.

NHS Fife is ambitious in developing its Digital and Information Delivery Plan to support organisational change and modernise service delivery for the benefit of staff, patients, carers and the public. We are looking for someone who will be a key advocate of this agenda and who is passionate about ensuring that training is delivered hand in hand with change to create a truly effective workforce.

Applications on a secondment basis will be considered providing you have prior agreement from your current line manager.

For informal enquiries please contact Susan Paterson, Digital Enablement Facilitator at Susan.Paterson7@nhs.scot.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full-time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37-hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period, for which you would be paid, until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Hiring Manager.

NHS Fife is legally obliged to ensure all its employees are legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom. If you are not a United Kingdom (UK) or Irish National, you are required to confirm your right to work in your application.

NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.
