Full Job Description

Reporting to the Business Development Manager - Specialist Services the purpose of this role is to support the development of a range of strategic digital marketing and communication initiative across ASCO Specialist Services. Duties include:

  • Support the Specialist Services Business Development Team and ASCO marketing team in shaping and developing the strategic communications narrative that underpins the development of the brands.


  • Develop and implement a digital marketing and content strategy to help position the specialist services businesses for success.


  • Champion the ASCO brand ensuring consistent application across all forms of communication.


  • Work with the group marketing function to create high quality sales and marketing collaterals as required.


  • Support the ASCO Group Marketing function in the development and management of ASCO's online and social media presence.

    Experience in brand development, online marketing and social media strategies.


  • Skilled in developing and delivering creative and engaging content.


  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, customers and vendors.


  • Skilled in project management with the ability to complete projects efficiently, successfully and on-time.


  • Effective negotiating skills with the ability to network, influence and challenge people at all levels.


  • Ability to work to short timescales, changing deadlines and liaise with multiple sources to deliver a high-quality product.


  • Highly communicative and engaging with an articulate and compelling writing style and ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and formats.


  • Creative and innovative, motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and customer support.


  • Solutions based with analytical, planning and organising skills, and an excellent attention to detail.


  • A desire to understand and positively promote the business, internally and externally.


  • Ability to apply lateral and strategic thinking and creativity.


  • Knowledge of B2B marketing discipline; Oil and Gas is preferable, but not mandatory.


  • Highly capable IT skills including MS Office and presentation packages. Adobe In-Design would be beneficial.


  • Experience in website and intranet content management.


  • Ability to work alone and use initiative while being a positive contributor to the wider team.


  • Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree educated with a focus on marketing and/or communications.


  • Post graduate qualification in Digital Marketing


  • UK Driving Licence

    A certificate of registration or naturalisation as a British citizen, together with an official document giving the person's permanent National Insurance number and their name issued by a Government agency or a previous employer
    A current passport endorsed to show that the holder is allowed to stay in the UK and is currently allowed to do the type of work in question
    A current Biometric Immigration Document (Biometric Residence Permit) issued by the Home Office to the holder which indicates that the named person can currently stay in the UK and is allowed to do the work in question
    A current Immigration Status Document containing a photograph issued by the Home Office to the holder with a valid endorsement indicating that the named person may stay in the UK, and is allowed to do the type of work in question, together with an official document giving the person's permanent National Insurance number and their name issued by a Government agency or a previous employer
