Overview: 
We are looking for an Apprentice to join our dynamic team.

You will gain a Modern Apprenticeship in Digital Applications at SCQF Level 6 Diploma.

What will I learn?

  • Acting as system expert for our internal applications Xero, QuickBooks and Sage used for order processing which directly handles customer orders, quotes, and sales tracking.
  • Supporting the running of all payrolls from end to end.
  • Ensuring the correct information is obtained and investigating any discrepancies.
  • Assisting with processing of all new starters and leavers, employee changes, sickness and statutory payments and deductions.
  • Using Excel to assist with input of data on to payroll system.
  • Investigate and resolve all payroll related queries as required and liaising with Payroll Manager.
  • Learning all legalisations and Laws for the department.
  • Using the following systems: Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams, Zoom, Bright Pay, Xero, IRIS.

You will need the following skills:

  • Passion for a future career in the industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiasm to learn
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Positive attitude
  • Proactive and able to work autonomously and part of a team

Working hours: 
37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Salary: 
£15,000 per annum.

Throughout your apprenticeship you are supported by your skills coach and your account manager. They work with your line manager to ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.
At the end, as well as the valuable experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification.
