Position:
An opportunity has arisen for three permanent Desktop Support Officers based at Ailsa Hospital, Ayr.
What you will do:
You will provide comprehensive I.T. support to the Digital Services Support Team Leader Vaccination in all aspects of the support of NHS Ayrshire & Arran I.T. systems and hardware. This includes travelling to NHS sites and maintaining I.T. systems and hardware in Vaccination, and other sites that NHS staff utilise.
The ability to understand complex information and diagnose system related issues by working in close collaboration with colleagues and working on within the Digital Services team and all services within the wider organisation are essential skills required along with the ability to work under pressure with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service delivery.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You will preferably have experience or knowledge of clinical systems used within Vaccination and Digital Services and must have evidential experience in an NHS I.T. support capacity. Extensive knowledge and experience of supporting Microsoft products including o365 also essential.
You must be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience.

Hours:
37 per week, over 5 days.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership:
A car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
