Full Job Description

Babcock LGE is seeking a talented Document Controller to join our team and play a vital role in delivering large-scale process engineering projects for the marine and offshore industries. In this exciting role, you'll be the master of organization, ensuring all crucial documents are submitted, reviewed, and approved on time. You'll collaborate with key stakeholders, including shipyards, oil majors, and class societies, keeping the project documentation flowing smoothly. Day to day, you'll:

  • Be instrumental in winning and delivering complex projects, ensuring all documents meet the highest standards.
  • Work across diverse projects in the marine and offshore sectors, from liquefied gas transportation to petrochemicals.
  • Interact with suppliers and stakeholders worldwide - perfect for those who thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Our collaborative culture promotes continuous improvement, and you'll be encouraged to learn and grow.
  • This role is full time, Monday to Friday and is based at our Rosyth site, with hybrid working arrangements- 2 days in the office, 3 days working from home.

  • Proven experience in document control, ideally within a technical or engineering background.
  • Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - to clearly communicate with various teams and external partners.
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for accuracy.
  • Fluency in English and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Adobe Acrobat., The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) security clearance for this role.
