Drainage & Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Drainage & Infrastructure Engineer to join our team in Edinburgh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, management, and implementation of drainage and infrastructure projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet both regulatory and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop drainage and infrastructure systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Perform hydraulic and hydrological modeling to assess flood risks and drainage capacities.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate drainage solutions into overall project designs.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure project success.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in drainage and infrastructure engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong knowledge of local drainage and infrastructure regulations and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven project management skills.
