Full Job Description
- To drive a minibus/MPV in a responsible and competent manner, ensuring the safety and comfort of School passengers
- School Term- August 24- June 25- up to 18.25 hrs Morning and Evenings; additional sessional hrs maybe available.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks.
- Report any vehicle defects and faults.
- Refuel vehicle as required.
- Be responsible for the safety and comfort of passengers.
- Follow appropriate health and safety legislation
- When necessary, assist passengers entering and leaving the vehicle.
- Maintain the vehicle driver's records.
- Undertake shift working including some early starts and/or late finishes
- Clean and maintain the vehicle while under your control as required at the beginning and end of shift
- Any other duties as required to ensure the efficient running of SACT and the hire of minibuses
- A full, clean driving license with
- Up to date MiDAS certification (or be prepared to undertake this training as soon as is practicable)
- Outgoing personality who enjoys working with people, especially children and young adults
- Current PVG scheme membership (Disclosure) or willingness to have a check undertaken.
