Full Job Description

Are you passionate about supply chain excellence and ready to play a key role in a world-class manufacturing team? William Grant & Sons is seeking a Dry Goods Stock Controller to ensure the seamless delivery of dry goods to support our production operations. You'll be at the heart of our manufacturing process, ensuring all dry goods are in place before each production run. By maintaining accurate stock levels and supporting continuous improvement initiatives, you'll help drive efficiency and compliance across our operations. Main Responsibility

  • Adhere to safe working practices and quality standards in line with ISO 9001, BRC, environmental, and HRMC requirements.
  • Implement best practices to maintain high stock accuracy. Work closely with suppliers and external storage facilities to ensure timely availability of components for production.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, including Production, Material Control, Procurement, Finance, and Supply Chain, to identify and address risks, issues, and opportunities.
  • Lead daily, weekly, monthly, and annual stock counts. Prepare and share monthly stock reports with key stakeholders.
  • Drive and support continuous improvement projects. Investigate and resolve customer complaints, lot batch, and product tracking queries.
  • Support internal and external audits, ensuring all processes meet compliance standards.
  • Actively contribute to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all ideas and perspectives are valued.

    Strong experience in stock and inventory management.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 9001 and BRC.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Current counterbalance forklift truck licence essential
