Full Job Description

WGM Engineering are looking to recruit a DSEAR Delivery Manager to lead the DSEAR workstream, ensuring delivery is within budget and to customer requirements and standards. Full accountability for ensuring safety, customer quality, cost and delivery requirements are met. Responsible for developing an enthusiastic, motivated and flexible team by building working relationships ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to. Manage the team on best practice and establish standard policies and procedures whilst also mentoring and leading the delivery teams. Implement and manage continuous improvement by highlighting deficiencies and recommending changes in training, working practices and processes,

  • Effectively and efficiently achieve required targets in line with customer specifications, meeting quality and delivery expectations, minimising costs where possible and ensuring best working practices are maintained always

  • Develop and update DSEAR delivery programme

  • Liase with JV partner and wider supply chain to ensure programme targets are achieved

  • Responsible for the DSEAR overall performance including, financial, meeting customer requirements and maintaining the orderly and productive operation of planned activities

  • Support team in determining the optimum approach to work execution and provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for more complex activities where necessary.

  • Communicate and liaise with other delivery managers and functions regarding forward work projections to ensure productivity targets are met

  • Drive process improvements by appropriate data analysis

  • Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions

  • Produce written reports and produce monthly board updates

  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems

  • Identify and deploy the technical skill sets, resource levels and systems to deliver activities, including the engagement of external resources as required

  • Conduct risk assessments of tasks within the delivery stream

  • Develop plans to deliver our Values.

    To be considered for this position you will have at least 2-3 years previous experience within a similar Project Management role ideally within an engineering or similar industry background. You will be qualified to degree level within a engineering discipline. You will process CompEx 01 - 04 Hazardous areas, Compex 12 design of electrical installations in hazardous area, Compex 14 responsible person and have extensive delivery experience within DSEAR sector and proven supervisory A good understanding of water and waste water industry and processes is preferable. The Ability to write detailed reports and have a clear understanding of NEC form of contract is required within the role. Due to the nature of the role a full UK driving license is required as the will be travel to various sites across the country
