Dumfries and Galloway Cultural Partnership Chair

An exciting opportunity is now available to an individual with the right skills and experience to Chair the Dumfries and Galloway Cultural Partnership.

This independent Chair will play a crucial role in guiding the Partnership's development and overseeing the delivery of the region’s Cultural Strategy.

The key elements of the role, include:

• To be an ambassador for the Dumfries and Galloway Cultural Partnership and Strategy

• To chair meetings of the Cultural Partnership

• To support the Leads of the Thematic Groups of the Partnership

• To liaise with the Co-ordinator and Administrator about the running of the Partnership and implementation of the Cultural Strategy Delivery Plan

‘Cultural’ covers both the arts and heritage sectors so it’s a broad and inclusive approach.

The postholder is a freelance position for one year and will receive payment of £250 per day for 25 days per year along with expenses.

Interviews will be held in person in Dumfries or online on Wednesday 30 October. Applicants will be invited to give a short presentation.
