Full Job Description

Place of Work - Ibrox Community Complex, 80 Hinshelwood Drive, Glasgow, G51 2XP

 

Key responsibilities of the role:


Coordinate the venues Operational Plan in conjunction with colleagues to ensure the highest levels of customer service.

Ensure all elements of service quality are evident and action taken promptly to address any shortfall in service delivery.

Ensure all areas are clean, safe and secure for all users following the venue’s management systems and procedures.

Coordinate and manage the relevant staffing schedules to support the venues general operations to ensure service delivery levels are maintained to an acceptable standard, including cleaning and housekeeping.

In conjunction with colleagues plan and implement the daily activity programme to ensure the highest level of service delivery

Coordinate access to the various equipment stores to ensure equipment is being handled in an appropriate manner.    

Coordinate and implement the venues Fire evacuation and testing procedures, and in conjunction with the operational plan.

Coordinate accident reporting procedures with a view to ensuring the venue is being managed in a safe and reliable manner.

Coordinate in conjunction with colleagues the relevant work programmes around the maintenance of the venue, including the management of the statutory/industry guideline certification.

Manage and coordinate the Contractor Logbook to ensure contractor access is managed in a safe and effective manner.

Coordinate and implement the various venue routine inspections required to ensure health and safety in the workspace.

Coordinate the processes supporting IAuditor and the venues inspection, reporting and review process to ensure operational effectiveness.

In conjunction with colleagues coordinate all bookings and events in line with recognised processes to ensure the venue offers the best possible experience for all.

Coordinate the venue’s marketing and promotional activity by ensuring current information is being displayed at the venue. 

Provide support for the administrative requirements of the venue’s operations, including responding to telephone, emails and written enquiries. 

Support the Foundation with planning and developing meetings and other activities at the venue.

Provide ad hoc support to the Foundation team and the Foundation’s wider activities, including attending events, if required.
