DYW (Developing the Young Workforce) Co-ordinator, Castlebay School (9413)
18.5 hours per week, Fixed term post to 31 March 2025
£16,900 to £18,260 per annum (inclusive of £1,371Distant Islands Allowance per annum)

As Co-ordinator you will have responsibility for the organisation, administration and delivery of the DYW (Developing the Young Workforce) Agenda and Scottish Qualification’s for whom the Comhairle are approved to deliver.

This post is Fixed Term until March 31st 2025 with a view to extend, pending funding agreement.

You will be educated to Higher Level or equivalent with at least two years experience working in Human Resources, Training or Youth Work.

It is essential that you have good organisational skills with an ability to work on own initiative, excellent communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. You will have knowledge of all aspects of the delivery of training programmes and a good working knowledge of educational structures and evidence/theory requirements of accredited training programmes.

Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.
