We have an exciting permanent opportunity to join our nurturing and engaging early years team in a role that supports high quality Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) provision across East Renfrewshire.  As part of this role you will be responsible for aspects of ELC as well as school age childcare, ensuring that children and families benefit from high quality, flexible, accessible and affordable services. 

We need someone who has a degree level qualification relevant to the field and extensive experience in a leadership role in ELC, which enables them to inspire and motivate people.

Ideally the successful post holder will also have additional qualifications which demonstrate a depth of understanding about the key principles of early years education.

*Depending upon the needs of the service, staff in Hybrid roles will typically work from home for up to 40-60% of the time where the needs of the service can still be met.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.  It is an offence therefore to apply if you are barred from working with children. In addition to this, if you have lived or worked in any country outside the UK in the past 10 years, there may be a requirement for an overseas police check.
