Early Years Officer

Various locations (2 posts)

We are seeking temporary Early Years Officers to join the central team to support in a variety of settings to cover short and medium term absences.

You will have skills, knowledge and experience of all current Early Learning and Childcare provision and procedures and have a passion for promoting and delivering high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors.

You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families. You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures.

With recent, relevant experience of working with children, you will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. You must be registered with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

The post is temporary, full time (37 hours, term time) until Friday 27 June 2025. Part time contracts will also be considered.

Please note the salary in the advert will be adjusted accordingly for part time/term time contracts.
