Early Years Officer – Various – Casual/Supply Post IDs – CS0635

We are now seeking to increase our Supply/Casual Early Years Officer list to support all Falkirk Council establishments to cover short, medium and long-term absences.

You will have skills, knowledge and experience of all current Early Learning and Childcare provision and procedures and have a passion for promoting and delivering high quality play and learning both indoors and outdoors. You will work as an effective team member and establish positive relationships with children and families.

You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures. With experience of working with children, you will have an HNC/SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent. You must be registered with or currently seeking registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.

These posts will start after August 2024, therefore applications will be accepted for current students who are due to complete HNC qualification this year. Confirmation will be sought from your college to clarify that your qualification is complete and pending certificate.

The placements will vary from part time, full time, term time and full year. If you are successful you will asked to notify of your availability.
