Full Job Description
The Electrical engineer (Compliance) will report to the Site Engineering maintenance manager (Compliance) for Leven Packaging. The aim is to ensure the site is electrically compliant in accordance with current legislation and Diageo Global Technical standards.
- To provide solutions to comply with electrical legislation and ensure that site can demonstrate and maintain compliance.
- Coordinate external electrical compliance service and inspection contracts. Support site in the completion of remedial actions following service and inspection visits.
- Ensure all Compliance / Legislative PPM's are set up in SAP with robust task lists and frequencies aligned to statutory guidance.
- Assist in developing standardised engineering strategies for electrical functional safety across site.
- Ensure compliance with Engineering SFIP's and PUWER risk assessments are maintained, reviewed and delivered for new equipment on sites. + Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
- Ensure all electrical site drawings and documents are up to date and readily accessible/available.
- Prepare reports and update visual management for maintenance manager.

You will be actively engaging with partners and the Compliance Department to ensure valuable Planned Preventative Maintenance Tasks are at the core of the Maintenance Strategy. You will also be required to participate in Root Cause Problem Solving sessions. You will be organised and self-reliant, handling your own workload and priorities while solving problems and supporting process and equipment improvement projects. - Must be a time-served electrical engineer We're looking for someone who can work well within a team as well as the ability to make effective decisions and thrive in situations where they can solve problems!
