Electrical Engineer (Design)

This role reports into the Principal Electrical Engineer. The purpose of the role is to design electrical control systems, specify components with supporting calculations, create drawings and produce technical documentation. Closing Date: 25/11/24 Duties will include: · Design of control systems for a range of products. · Produce electrical drawings, bill of materials and technical documentation. · Generate concept designs and control philosophies for new equipment. · Support the wider business (bids, manufacture & test, post design services, etc.) · Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and sub-contractors.

Degree Educated in Control / Electrical Engineering or relevant Apprenticeship with HNC. · Experience in electrical/control design. · Experience of preparing technical documentation and drawings. · Skilled in the use of MS Office products. · Excellent communication skills. · Familiarity of related standards (BS, EN, 18th Edition, etc.)
