Electrical Estimator

Due to continued expansion our leading Building Services client are recruiting an Electrical Estimator to join their team on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Senior Estimator and Board of Directors, you will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates for Electrical projects, including materials and labour costs.

Main duties;

• Preparation of estimates for electrical projects.
• Adhering to electrical codes and regulations. 
• Analysing and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities.
• Effective management of time and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and budget. 
• Use of estimation software to create cost estimates. 
• Providing detailed reports. 
• Liaison with senior management and clients to provide regular progress updates on projects. 

Skills & Experience;

• Proficient in electrical estimating.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes.
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Excellent math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Proficient in the use of electrical estimating software.
• Ability to work with a team.
