Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Project Manager to oversee a major building services project in Dumfries. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of this high-profile project, managing all aspects of the electrical works, and leading a dedicated team to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of the electrical project from initiation to completion.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Ensure all electrical works are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Implement and maintain effective project management processes and documentation.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth and efficient project delivery.
.Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Or:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager in the building services sector.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, building regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work away from home, with additional compensation provided.
