Electrical Supervisor

WellGear are looking for a suitable candidate to join their fast growing and dynamic business. The Successful candidate will perform a vital role in the growth of a motivated close-knit team.

Role:

The role involves working alongside WellGear’s experienced electrical team and will predominantly be based at WellGear’s UK base in Drumoak. Where required there would be the need to go offshore to assist with commissioning or repair work.

Duties include but are not limited to;

·       Assisting in the design of Atex electrical systems

·       Basic Programming of PLC Systems

·       Support in planning of upcoming operations

·       Management of required electrical maintenance

·       Leading fault finding

·       Maintenance and testing of electrical installations, lighting, distribution boxes and cabling.

·       Testing of data acquisition and measurement systems.

·       Maintenance and control of the control systems on hydraulic power packs and pumps.

·       Carrying out periodic inspections

·       Carrying out repairs

·       Management of third party electrical contractors

·       Management of inhouse electricians

Beneficial

·       Offshore Bosiet & medical

·       Prior experience with basic PLC systems and programming

·       CompEx EX01 – EX04 Certified

Education

·       Qualified Electrician

·       Electrical Engineering degree (preferred)

Experience

Experience in a similar role is highly beneficial
