Full Job Description
We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a major commercial project in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to lead a team of electricians and oversee the electrical installations and works on a high-profile commercial development. As the Electrical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of electrical systems, maintaining high standards of quality, and ensuring full compliance with all relevant safety regulations.,
- Lead and supervise the electrical team on-site, ensuring that electrical installations are carried out to the highest standards.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the electrical works, managing resources, materials, and schedules to meet project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with all electrical regulations, safety codes, and industry standards.
- Work closely with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to coordinate electrical activities and resolve any technical issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and audits to ensure work is progressing safely and according to plan.
- Provide leadership, training, and support to electrical staff, ensuring they are up to date with health and safety protocols and best practices.
- Monitor and report on progress, providing detailed updates on electrical installations and identifying any potential delays or challenges.
Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor, ideally with experience on large-scale commercial projects. - Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., 18th Edition, ECS Gold Card, SSSTS).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation techniques, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A proactive approach to health and safety, with a track record of maintaining safe work practices on-site.
