Full Job Description
Our client is seeking an Electrical Test and Inspection Engineer in the Glasgow area.
Benefits:
- Base salary of 36,314.75 with average earnings of approximately 50,350 (including base salary, bonus, on-call, overtime/weekends, and paid travel time).

Responsibilities Include:
- Inspecting and testing customers' electrical installations (EICRs), including emergency lighting testing, fire alarm inspections, mains analysis, thermal imaging, and small remedial repairs as required.
- Completing all relevant reports and certifications using cloud-based certification software.
- Ensuring all reports and certifications are completed and submitted on time.
- Carrying out LED lighting replacements both during and outside of regular hours, in line with the project schedule.
Ideal Candidate:
- Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including evening/twilight shifts to support customers' requirements.
- Travelling to sites across ROI and the flexibility to stop over when required.
- A full UK Driving Licence, with 6 points or less.
- SVQ level 3 or City & Guilds 2360/2330 part 1 & 2 qualification OR equivalent Level 3 NQV
- City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification
- City & Guilds 2391/2394 & 2395
- AM2 or equivalent
- IPAF 3a & 3b licence
- A good level of IT literacy.
- Experience working in an electrical testing environment
- Experience with Electrical installation/project work - Specifically commercial lighting replacements
- An understanding of UK Health and Safety Regulations within the workplace.
