Full Job Description

As a Custody Product Manager, you are responsible for the Global Custody and Direct Custody Products in region working with all client segments including Asset Owners, Asset Managers, Insurance, and Official Institutions.

You will maintain and evolve the product definition, engage with clients, and lead client solutioning and product enhancement efforts.

You will contribute to the execution of the Custody strategy, and commercial growth and business development efforts. The role requires deep domain expertise of Global Custody with a focus on the EMEA region, and collaboration with internal stakeholders across Global Delivery, Sales, Client Management and Technology.

The role reports to the Head of EMEA Custody Product Management.

The Custody Product Manager will have responsibility for :

Working closely with the Head of EMEA Custody Product Management Head to develop and execute the custody product strategy including ongoing priorities and annual investment decisions .

Documenting the product definition and standards for Global Custody products and identifying areas of improvement in the core products : working with the Global Delivery teams to manage operating costs, drive process improvements and improve cost to serve.

Provide domain expertise in the day to day running of the business .

Partner with the Chief Commercial Officer organisation (sales) to drive revenue through direct client engagement, pitches and providing commercial propositions for new custody deals and rebids.

Participate in industry groups across the region to drive market leadership and change.

Subject matter expertise of the Custody family of products; Global Custody, Direct Custody and associated FX and Cash products.

Track record of engagement with complex clients, solutioning operating models and translating requirements into feature function capability for State Street platforms.

Strong team player who is comfortable working across complex organisations and collaborating with partners.

Working knowledge of technology, market infrastructures and industry partners that support the global custody chain.

Effective understanding of operational processes across all aspects of Global Custody

Ability to effectively communicate at all levels within an organization.

Excellent client management skills and the ability to engage at all levels.

Ability to execute on product deliverables and strategic vision.

Experience

10+ years' experience in Securities Services / Global Custody.

Prior experience working in Operations and / or technology.

Prior experience of successfully performing product manager, product development or operation leadership roles beneficial
