Job Description
To lead Clackmannanshire Council’s resilience strategy, including civil and business continuity contingencies, to ensure the Council meets its statutory duties as a Category 1 responder under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, and other related legislation.
To provide specialist advice to Council services on their duties in response to a major emergency affecting Clackmannanshire’s population, infrastructure or environment.
To co-ordinate the Council’s major emergency response in support of the Emergency Services and as the lead agency in the recovery phase of the incident.
To provide specialist advice to Council services on their duties to respond to a business continuity incident within the authority which might affect the council’s ability to maintain its core services.
