Full Job Description

Service: Regulatory Services

Closing Date: Friday 18th October 2024

Regulatory Services have a temporary vacancy for a Enforcement Officer- Environmental Health to support the environmental health team based in Lochgilphead, working across the area from Campbeltown and Oban, and in some instances, the islands. The role will include the first time assessment of service requests, acting as a witness and support the work across a wide range of areas including public health environmental protection, health and safety and food safety.

 

If you have an interest in protecting public health, working with people and have experience applying standards or general enforcement, this could be the ideal role for you

This is a temporary post to the 30 June 2025. Through this role the successful candidate will gain valuable experience in both the wider functions of environmental health. The role may therefore, be of interest to a candidate wishing to pursue a career in Environmental Health or Public Health, or a secondment for existing Council employees.
