APPSEC ENGINEER - INFOSEC - FINTECH - FINANCIAL SERVICES - PERMANENT - EDINBURGH - HYBRID
Role: Engineer, Application Security (permanent)
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000
Location: Edinburgh (flexibly hybrid)
Harvey Nash is looking for an AppSec Engineer to join our Edinburgh-based client who is building out their InfoSec team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic FinTech company that is experiencing significant growth in their market.
This person will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing security controls
- Conducting technical security assessments to identify vulnerabilities
- Collaborating with stakeholders for remediation plans
- Maintaining control systems and integrations
- Supporting audit and due diligence activities
Required Skills and Experience:
- Information Security experience, ideally in financial services.
- Knowledge of security best practices and secure software development
- Experience with technical security assessments.
- Strong IT, Development, and Networking knowledge.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
