Full Job Description
- Working in Engineering toolsets to facilitate and manage the River Class Destroyer Bill of Material (Functional, Spatial structures etc.)
- Operating in Engineering toolsets to maintain the River Class Destroyer Bill of Material (create, update, obsolete BoM Items)
- Performing Impact Assessments to support the weekly Engineering Change Board (ECB)
- Processing of BoM Update Forms and Change Tasks to fulfil Engineering Change Board directives
- Working with the Data Quality team to highlight, understand and resolve data issues
- Engaging in Engineering Reporting capabilities to support the Zonal Review process
- Supporting River Class Destroyer Engineering community within Product Data Management toolset operations
Awareness and experience of Variant Management and multi-programme toolsets and environments - Data Analysis of Product Change and artefacts to enable the Planning, sequencing and prioritisation of Tasks
- Experience of Microsoft Office products, in particular MS Excel to support data management Desirable:
- Experience of various Engineering toolsets, interfaces and processes within complex product configurations
- Understanding of Configuration Management, Change Management and Engineering Lifecycles Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution., This is a place where you'll be able to make a real difference.
