Full Job Description

  • Participate in designs of auxiliary systems and compartments

  • Active engagement with internal and external stakeholders

  • Development of marine engineering processes

  • Being a subject matter expert and leading decision making for designated systems or areas of responsibility

  • Serving as primary specialist point of contact for suppliers

    Experience with mechanical engineering systems, ideally in marine engineering or offshore space

  • Understanding of engineering lifecycle management

  • Knowledge of mechanical systems design


  • Engineers at all levels should possess an academic qualification in Engineering or other related STEM subjects as well as specific (either academic or professional) qualifications and become recognised as Incorporated or Chartered Engineers through an appropriate recognised professional institution. Engineers are encouraged, and will be supported, to achieve the relevant accreditation. Preference will be given to candidates who are already professionally registered.

    The Auxiliaries Team:

    The Hunter Class programme is part of the broader global combat ships family and sister of the Canadian class. This will be a long term project with a lot of growth in the programme and within the business.
