Full Job Description
Engineering Shift Manager required to lead a maintenance team on Shift in a fast paced & growing FMCG business for a market leading company commutable from Falkirk, West Lothian, Stirlng & Fife.This position is based on a day/night shift pattern. Based in Edinburgh!!
The Role:
- Provide engineering advice and coaching where necessary.
- Manage and/or participate in manufacturing improvement project teams
- Lead team of engineers within proactive and reactive maintenance in a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Schedule, collate and generate data on a monthly basis of all site plant from a condition monitoring viewpoint, highlighting pre-fail components
The Candidate:
- Must be a good communicator
- Detailed engineering knowledge of all aspects of manufacturing equipment
- Recognised apprenticeship qualification or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline
- Understanding of the contribution Engineering can make to the achievement of Manufacturing KPIs
- Must have been in a leadership role within engineering and has extensive experience of managing people
- Must be or have been a multiskilled engineer with hands on experience within manufacturing preferably FMCG
