Full Job Description

The Engineering Work Package Management Roles coordinate internal teams performing a work package. They conduct all the work package activities to reach completion of the project regarding its technical, industrial and financial aspects while satisfying the needs of the Project Manager and reaching customers' needs. They are responsible for delivering their work package on time and at the defined cost and quality. They perform their role from authorisation to start until closure of the work package for all aspects (such as organisation, scheduling, effort, and budget)., 2) Author the Work Package Description with the WP team based on the project structure regarding the entity/Customer requirements
3) Identify deliverables, milestones and interdependencies with other WP's
4) Establish the schedule and the estimates based on a viable solution, and identify the necessary resources and their availability
5) Initialise the risk and opportunity register and the work package baseline using the relevant key project tools
6) Define the cost structure, resource profiles, supplier selection and the relevant metrics
7) Write relevant plans within the WP scope
8) Work Package Execution
9) Achieve the objectives of the Work Package and take the necessary management actions to correct any deviation from the baseline or objectives
10) Identifying and solving issues, managing the risks and opportunities and performing mitigation activities
11) Review document, specifications, schedule and estimate files using peers where necessary
12) Monitor & consolidate all deliverables

Key Stakeholder Relations:

1) Lead the team and/or suppliers involved to perform the work package and ensures the respect of all commitments
2) Participate and input to all relevant project reviews as specified in the PMP
3) Act, where required, as PM delegate to the Client.
4) Act, where required, as the Thales representative for sub-contracted work

1) You graduated with a Master of Engineering, Computer Science or any relevant field in University, and you have significant experience in project management

3) You have proven experience in coordination of various technical activities
4) You know how to produce synthetic and quality reports
5) You have outstanding problem-solving skills and a passion to solve hard problems
6) You can demonstrate knowledge in financial, workload plan and risks management
7) You are familiar with bidding process
