We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated officers to join the Environmental Health team in Glasgow. Based within the Business Regulation section, you will take on responsibilities for Food Law inspections and investigations, Health & Safety enforcement, events licensing and work independently to contribute to the delivery of the Environmental Health service within Glasgow. It has recently been announced that Glasgow will host the 2026 Commonwealth Games and successful candidates will have the opportunity to work as part of the team to support event delivery.

You must hold a Degree in Environmental Health and a Diploma in Environmental Health. A flexible approach to working, good IT skills and a working knowledge of the role of an Environmental Health Officer within a local authority setting are essential.
