Full Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to help us grow and develop our skilled team, with a core mission of bringing users to our system. As the leader of our Acquisition-focused "Pathfinders" squad, you'll drive strategies that boost top-of-funnel engagement, working alongside our engineers, designers, and product managers in Vilnius and Copenhagen to build a world-class product. As a people manager, you'll oversee team activities, conduct 1:1 meetings, lead performance and development reviews, and participate in hiring. This role demands technical expertise, vision, mentorship, and a strong commitment to your team's success.,
- Build and maintain a team that trusts each other with a focus on the professional and personal growth of your team, incl. conducting 1:1 meetings and performance & development conversations
- Collaborate closely with other Engineering Leads and our CTO to bring continuous improvements and take our Engineering organization to a new level
- Empower Engineers to innovate
- Manage cross-functional teams dependencies and focuses by making sure that they are on board on priorities
- Focus on delivery and sprints successes, working closely with a PM in regards to planning and retrospectives

We are looking for a colleague who wants to be part of taking our Engineering organization to the next level. You understand the concepts of working in an international startup environment and you thrive in across-functional setup with colleagues from various professional backgrounds and spread across the company. In more detail, you will be successful in this role if you, Are experienced engineering manager who comes from an international engineering background and who understands the full engineering processes - Have at least 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
- Have at least 3 years of experience managing a team of software engineers
- Are able to communicate on all levels of the organization; from your team of Engineers and developers to senior management.
- Are super proactive and innovative, able to think outside the box, recognize the most important problems to solve, and relentlessly go at it.
- Are able to manage conflicts and find win-win solutions
- Have good experience working with teams that work in sprints
- Have good know-how about mobile, web, and backend systems
- have good communication skills in English and possibly Lithuanian (not a must) Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
