An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Care at Home and Enablement Officer to join the Inverness integrated team. The post holder will work autonomously to ensure a high quality Enablement and Discharge to Assess (home first) service is provided, with a core focus of regaining independence in the persons own home. This will involve staff management, including supervision and training, regular quality assurance reviews of documentation and processes, and collaborative working with other professionals in the Integrated Team. The post holder will work closely with independent sector providers to coordinate commissioned care at home, monitor commissioned hours and ensure financial paperwork is completed.
SVQ4 Health and Social Care or equivalent professional qualifications required in addition to experience in management or supervisory role.
Knowledge of Care Inspectorate and SSSC standards also essential.
Full driving licence and access to own vehicle required and registration with the Scottish Social Services Council required.

NHS Scotland is reducing their full time working week from 37.5 to 37 hours per week from 1 April 2024 but with no change in pay. This reduction will also be applied pro rata for part time staff. This advert and any subsequent offer/contract of employment therefore reflects the new working hours. However, as not all service areas will be able to adopt the 37 hour working week immediately from 1 April 2024, you may be required to work up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
