Full Job Description

The ESG Operations Team are responsible for supporting the wider ESG function within Baillie Gifford. The team works closely with our voting and ESG data teams to support and coordinate a range activities including proxy voting and client reporting. As ESG Operations Associate you will support the key activities and processes of the ESG Team. Assist in providing an efficient administration support to the team and help to provide an effective operational support service to the business.Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact in the team for administrative and operations queries
  • Manage the team e-mail inbox, completing and allocating out tasks as required
  • Administrative support to the wider team
  • Liaise with other internal teams within the business as required
  • Update internal documents
  • Manage exceptions within the internal systems and update as appropriate.
  • Arrange meetings with our key external counterparts
  • Diary management
  • Attending meetings and minute taking
  • Assist team in meeting regular and bespoke client reporting requirements.
  • Provide cover for colleagues on the team as required

    Previous experience in an operational or administrative focussed role desirable
  • Work independently using initiative
  • Monitor and adjust priorities on an on-going basis whilst managing tight deadlines
  • Data handling and reporting skills
