Full Job Description

Reed Business Support are working on a fantastic role with a well known Scottish Higher Education establishment that are working with Reed on an exclusive basis.

They are on the hunt for an experienced Estates Manager to look after the site management of 2 of their campuses.

The role includes overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, managing budgets, and leading a team including security, porter and room booking staff.

Details:

Salary- 51,756 - 61,756 (Dependent on experience)

Hours- 35

Requirements- Valid drivers licence

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain estate properties to the highest standards.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and manage budgets for estate maintenance and improvements.
  • Lead and supervise the wider team.
  • Coordinate with contractors and service providers.
  • Implement and monitor preventative maintenance programs.
  • Handle emergency repairs and maintenance issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Estates Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of property management and maintenance.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial plans.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in property management, facilities management, or a related field.
