Full Job Description

Contract Scotland is seeking an Estimating Coordinator to join our client, a reputable Civil Engineering Main Contractor with an annual turnover of over £100 million, to provide crucial administrative support for their estimating department.

This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the tendering process within set deadlines.

This position will require office full-time presence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming tenders, including those received via email and online portals, and ensure accurate and timely processing.
- Organise and maintain tender documentation, including distribution to relevant team members and tracking of tender status.
- Coordinate tender submissions, ensuring all requirements are met, and submissions are accurate and punctual.
- Provide general administrative support to the estimating team, including document management and handling of queries.

Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an administrative or coordinating role, preferably in a civil engineering or construction environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with e-tender portals.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in tender coordination or estimating support in the construction or civil engineering sector.
- Familiarity with document management systems and tendering software.

- Proactive and able to anticipate needs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities.
