Estimator

Peace Recruitment is working with a small, but high-end, residential refurb contractor based in Edinburgh city centre; who specialise in home renovations, design & build projects; to recruit an Estimator. Freelance contract to perm opportunity will be considered. 

You will work as focal point of the commercial division, given the size of the contractor, supporting and managing bids and producing estimates for all aspects of renovation works across the business.

Duties will include:

• Producing and presenting Bill of Quantities alongside Project Management Team, to client(s).
• Reporting on-site variations on current projects.
• Ensuring commercial compliance with current processes
• Delay reporting.

You will be office based in Edinburgh, with occasional visits to site(s). Office hours are 08.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, and half day on a Friday. 

The daily rate is £240 - £260 per day and dependent on location, and experience.
