Full Job Description


Our client are seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team in Kilmarnock.   You will be joining an established family business with a number of in-house trades, servicing the west central belt of Scotland.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in extensions and domestic renovations.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Analysing project specifications, drawings, and other documentation.
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and competitive pricing.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market rates and industry trends.
- Managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
- Providing clear and concise reports to management and clients.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Estimator, specifically in extensions and domestic renovations.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
