Full Job Description

You will provide energy, drive, leadership and strategic direction, in partnership with Director colleagues, to ensure a focus and drive to deliver person centred care as the foundation for all services. Responsible for the delivery of continuous improvement in the clinical performance of NHS Lanarkshire, with a specific focus on:
- Quality of clinical care.
- Continuous improvement of clinical practice and positive patient experience
- Patient and Public Protection of vulnerable adults and children.
- Infection Prevention and Control including Healthcare Environment Inspections Feedback, comments, concerns and complaints.
- Delivery of Person Centered, Safe and Effective Care. As a member of the NHS Executive Director team you will shape, approve and implement the strategic direction, governance, and performance management of the organisation. You will also fully contribute to and participate in the corporate management and governance of NHS Lanarkshire and contribute to the overall strategic objectives, direction, and performance of NHS Lanarkshire. You will also deliver the corporate accountabilities of the NHS Board, Chief Executive and Executive Director Lead required under HDL(2001)10 and HDL(2005)8; that ensures compliance with and contribution to local, regional and national developments in healthcare associated infection policy and guidelines.
