The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager or Account Executive to join our team and work on the Ideal Home Show Scotland. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event sales and a strong interest in home-related brands, particularly in the areas of interiors, travel, and leisure. You will be a key brand ambassador, playing a vital role in the continued growth and development of the event.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain a deep understanding of the Ideal Home Show Scotland and all commercial opportunities associated with the event.
- Build and expand your personal client base, contributing to team revenue targets as needed.
- Consistently achieve monthly sales targets.
- Convert new business opportunities into repeat clients.
- Professionally represent the event in person, virtually, and through other communication channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, production, accounts, and editorial to bring fresh ideas and ensure smooth commercial workflows.
- Attend networking events and competitive shows to prospect for new business opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with clients via phone, email, video calls, and face-to-face meetings.
- Design creative marketing campaigns for clients that align with their objectives within the home interest sector.
- Regularly forecast and report sales performance to your direct line manager, participating in weekly sales and event meetings.
- Display excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider Home Interest sales team to contribute ideas and cross-sell into other events.
- Be willing to occasionally work outside of normal hours to support event delivery.
