Expeditor

EnerMech currently have an opportunity for an Expeditior to join our Commercial team in Aberdeen. This is a permanent role reporting to the Procurement Team Lead. This role supports all business lines ensuring on time supplier deliveries by expediting purchase orders from placement through to receipt. As an Expeditior you will also be responsible for providing reporting on supplier delivery performance. Other main responsibilities include the following:

• Daily review of open purchaser orders
• Contact suppliers to ensure requested receipt dates are accurate
• Maintain contact with suppliers and shipping companies while deliveries are in transit
• Notify appropriate business line focal points in a timely manner if a delivery is going to be late
• Update ERP systems as required on delivery dates
• Be proactive in identifying potential delivery slippages and resolve issues which could lead to late delivery
• Timely response to all expediting requests
• Document all issues surrounding supplier late deliveries
  
  You will be someone who is a good communicator and problem solver. You will have previous purchase expediting experience and have computer skills including the use of Outlook, Excel, Word and ERP systems. Knowledge of the Navision ERP system is advantageous.
