To support our continued success, we are looking for an experienced Sales Ledger Clerk/Administrator to join our friendly and inclusive finance team.


The Role

As a Sales Ledger Clerk/Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the sales ledger, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, credit control, and financial record-keeping. You will play a key role in supporting the finance team with account reconciliations and customer account management.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Processing sales invoices and credit notes accurately and efficiently
  • Managing the sales ledger, ensuring timely payments and accurate records
  • Conducting customer account reconciliations and resolving queries
  • Monitoring credit control, following up on outstanding payments professionally
  • Posting receipts and ensuring transactions are correctly allocated
  • Assisting with financial reporting and month-end processes
  • Liaising with customers regarding billing inquiries and payment issues
  • Supporting the finance team with general administrative tasks

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales ledger or finance administration role
  • Strong knowledge of sales ledger processes, invoicing, and reconciliations
  • Experience with accounting software (experience with Xero is desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
