Fabricator / Blacksmith

Whale Engineering are looking for a skilled Fabricator/Blacksmith to join our expanding team.

The Role

As a Fabricator/Blacksmith, you will play a key role in fabricating and erecting balustrades, railings, gates, and other metalwork across our various sites in the central belt of Scotland.

You will also: 

• Perform structural and architectural metalwork for residential and commercial clients
• Fabricate steel sections including cutting, drilling, grinding, and welding
• Work from detailed engineering drawings to produce high-quality results
• Undertake site surveys and assist with installations

Work Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Overtime available as required

Requirements

• Valid CSCS card
• Clean driving licence
• Proficient in MIG and ARC welding
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and collaborate within a team
