Job Opportunity: Facades Manager – Tier 1 Contractor
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland
Salary: Up to £70k + Car Allowance, Pension & Private Healthcare

We are currently representing a Tier 1 Contractor in Scotland who is seeking an experienced Facades Manager to oversee the facades package on a major project in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in façade management and large-scale project delivery.

The Role:

As the Facades Manager, you will be responsible for managing the facades package . You will be leading the delivery of this critical part of the project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will be a key point of contact for the project, liaising with stakeholders, subcontractors, and the wider project team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the facades package: Manage the delivery of the facades element of the project.
  • Project Coordination: Oversee all aspects of planning, scheduling, and coordinating the façade works. Ensure the package integrates seamlessly with other trades on the project.
  • Stakeholder Management: Work closely with the client, design team, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met. Maintain clear communication channels and manage expectations.
  • Quality and Safety Control: Ensure that all works meet the required quality standards, health and safety regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Budget & Cost Control: Monitor and control the budget for the facades package, ensuring cost efficiency and value for money.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and support a team of professionals, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring that the team is motivated, focused, and working toward project goals.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a focus on managing façade packages.
  • Strong understanding of façade systems, materials, and installation methods.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in construction, engineering, or related field is desirable.
  • Previous experience in facades is essential, as well as knowledge of working with Tier 1 contractors.
