I am currently working with a large events venue, based in Edinburgh, seeking to appoint a Facilities Manager/Co-ordinator for 3 Month period (may be extended).

This role will have you overseeing the daily operation of the main venue, whilst supporting surrounding small buildings. This is an office based coordination how where you will be responding to facilities and maintenance issues that may arise. Alongside coordinating any planned repairs and upgrades that are part of the project. Within this role you will mainly be dealing with contractors and users of the venue whilst keeping up with compliance. You will be tasked with several maintenance/facilities projects that senior management are looking to expedite. Managing them to completion, ensuring the quality of works carried out by the trades team.


A strong knowledge of H&S, general property maintenance and facilities management is essential
for this role. IOSH or NEBOSH would be advantageous however candidates without this, that have a strong FM background will be considered. A strong problem solving mindset and friendly demeanour is also essential for this role as you will be dealing with both internal staff members and external contractors.

Strong IT and customer service skills are an essential part of this role. Candidates without this will not be considered.


This role is offering a strong salary and permanent contract.
